Poor guy, not playing great when you left your comments, then 5 months on and he plays his best ever at the 2008 6 Nations (easily walk into any World XV) - gets touted for Lions captaincy and then has a dire end to 08 and to make matters worse not only did he not get given the captains armband for the Lions but he does not even get selected. 12 months in rugby is a long, long, long........long, long...... Does anyone else feel sorry for Ryan Jones? With mcaw fetching you have enough. My choice would be Juan Smith. (maybe ryan jones, but he is not at his best right now). Nyanga certainly has the natural game as an opensider, but I was impressed how physically he carried the ball in the recent game against England. Still, there is someone like Juan Smith or even Danie Rossouw if I really wanted someone big! Those two are also better additional lineout options than Nyanga.
